Its exactly 7 weeks to the day that I arrive in Charleston, SC to visit one of my bestfriends! Lindsey moved to South Carolina with her husband, Matt, who is in the Air Force. Matt is currently deployed, so I thought this would be a perfect time to make a visit! Lets just say, it is long overdue. I am ecstatic to get there and to explore her fabulous city (plus, I can't wait to see Lindsey's house, meet her new puppy, and see the life she has created since she got married).
I will be traveling directly from Marco Island to Charleston, and Lindsey and I (along with Christie & Caroline) are going to run a 10k on Saturday while I am there. All I know is there better be some good beer to follow because a high school reunion it is!
I have heard so many great things about Charleston, such as the quaint, tree lined streets with top notch restaurants and shopping. Picture perfect, and I couldn't ask for more! Despite Lindsey being so far away, I am so happy she is in a fun, beautiful city!! (Her and Matt were almost assigned Anchorage, AK. I dont think I'd be able to run a 10k in Anchorage or visit her for a 4 day weekend. Thank goodness plans changed!)
