ok, my internet should be fixed this afternoon. That is, if the maintenance man actually shows up and figures out the problem. {I am taking 5 hours off of work to wait for him, so he better show up... and not be late!} It has officially been down for 2 weeks and I am starting to go through blog withdrawls. {I am blogging from work now, but all of my pictures to upload and share with you are at home, on my computer ... bummer!}
A few pictures from the weekend that I was able to "steal" from others ....
Thursday night a bunch of us got together to celebrate our friend Bobby's birthday. We went to Clarendon Ballroom and rocked out to a really, really fun coverband, Mr. Greengenes. This band actually has more meaning to us as it was a chance to reminisce our 4th of July holiday.
Saturday we headed down to my parents boat which they had docked at the marina in Old Town Alexandria. We got down there early, loaded up the boat (with all of our beer ...) and headed downtown, just past Georgetown. We found a really great spot to anchor out, enjoy an amazing lunch and just relax in the water. Check out the views of DC from the water (just a few)!!!

And to top off the night, we had a front row viewing of the fireworks in Alexandria from the bow of the boat ... gorgeous!!
