Thanksgiving Break Yet?

Man, someone needs to know that it is not very nice to give your employees a ton of stressful work that is due right before Thanksgiving Break. I can barely keep my head above water with my work load and to make matters worse, I have an extremely big decision to make at work that impacts my entire office. I wish I could delegate the load, but everyone continues to just look at me for the answer. Plus, everyone is talking about leaving work early tomorrow, when all I can hope for is getting out of the office by 7p.m. I'm not a happy camper.

My last pet peeve of the day (that I will share with you): I mentioned here about a person I work closely with at work who is to put it bluntly, a nightmare to work with. This morning I went to their office to inform them of an upcoming change, when the person decided to flip their lid on me, tell me they can't believe I (said with extreme attitude and emphasis) found out about this change before they did, and THEN continued to go on about how they get no respect in this firm. They said they do not get any respect from any other offices (well maybe if you weren't so rude to them, they would like you), that I don't respect them (who says that to someones face?) and that my boss does not respect them. Wow, don't shoot the messenger. I politely said "I am sorry you feel I do not respect you, but I report directly to my boss and therefore need to take her side more often than not") ... WHOA WHOA WHOA ...

thats it for now .. boy I can't wait for 5:30 ... no, not because I get to go home, but because that is when my office clears out and I can finally get work done in peace and quiet. Back to being my happy little camper self =)
