Backstreets Back

AJ, Kevin, Nick, Howie and Brian, also known as The Backstreet Boys, were the big deal when I was growing up. They were all the talk, and for me, my real first "boy band". I knew every word to every song, went to the concerts, had every poster and magazine with them in it, and of course, had my favorite guy! What I didn't know is that 15 years later I would be seeing them in concert, again. I was hesitant at first, but once I was there, it all came back to me. We had great seats (dead center and just a few rows back) and the guys really put on a good-for-being-old show.

This little munchkin, also known as Brian Littrell's son, introduced the guys "Here is AJ, Nick, Howie, and my dad". Kevin is no longer with the band. Sorry Kevin lovers. haha!

Naturally, they started the show off with "Backstreets Back" and the place went nuts. I had to laugh because it seemed as though everyone was screaming just like we did when we were younger AND the girls infront of us could not have been any older than 15 or 16. {Running some numbers} They were not even born or were just a year old when the Backstreet Boys were in their prime. Now I know how my parents feel when I am singing songs from their childhood. haha!!!!

Yes, they still did choreographed dances except their choreographer was not as good as they once had ..... or I have just grown up!

Nick, by far, was the best looking. The other guys have really aged, but Nick has kept it together. Maybe I have a bias opinion since I loved him from the beginning. (I cannot stop laughing while typing this post ... or throughout the entire concert for that matter.)

Thank goodness Howie lost the ponytail. How come noone informed him back then that girls did not find that attractive?

ohhhh what a fun girls night. I really had a great time, and a blast on my blast from the past. I'm really getting old. hmmmphh.
