image from capitals.nhl.com GAME 7!!! Its tonight and I am SO pumped. Hockey has been so much fun to follow this season, mostly because the Caps have given hope to every Washington DC sports fan. The Redskins took the fans on a roller coaster ride, the Wizards never got the ball rolling, and the Nationals are proving they have been drinking the same water. When Round 1 of the playoffs started for the Caps, I told myself that I would buy a new t-shirt if they won. Well, they lost game 1, and even after they (finally) won a game, I still knew I couldn't dive in too deep yet (ya know, I grew up in the area so I am used to disappointment). Now that the series is tied 3-3, I think I am still holding out. If they win tonight, I am buying a new shirt!!!! If they don't, I will be happy that I saved my few dollars. But don't let me go off on a tangent about that, I am happy as ever that the game is tonight and I will spend all day figuring out fun plans for watching it!
PS! I am heading down to Richmond this weekend for the Nascar race at Richmond International Raceway. Once I safely return (keep your fingers crossed), I will be able to check that off of my "list of things to do this year". Hail #8 (just practicing). Seriously, what does one preppy girl wear to something like this? All tips / advice / insight / input would be helpful!!!!
