Countdown: 5 days

I will be here in 5 days. This is the town of Riomaggiore in the Cinque Terre. The Cinque Terre is made up of five small towns, side by side, built into the western coast of Italy. Once I land in Milan, E and I will be taking a train here to soak up the beach life. From everything I read and hear, this is one of the best beaches / coasts in Italy.

The Bachelorette Season Premiere is tonight. After Jason angered me in the last season of the Bachelor, I told myself I would not watch this show anymore. Well, I am a sucker and I heart Jillian so I will be tuning in tonight(while getting things done around the house, of course) . I hear she will have 30 guys to choose from instead of the usual 25. From the previews, I wouldn't mind a few of her "rejects".

This is Jake. Jake is a 31 year old commercial pilot who currently resides in Lantana, TX (in where????). Just based on the photos, he is my top pick so far! PS! There are 2 "Tanner's" on the show. I did not think that was a very popular name? It reminds me of Danny Tanner. HAHA!

American Idol and Dancing With the Stars season finale's are this week!! I have decided that Adam should win American Idol and I would L.O.V.E. for Shawn Johnson to win DWTS, but I dont think she will. I hope Melissa doesn't win, but that is not up to me (I refuse to vote).

Last but not least: Last night was the season finale of Survivor. In family fashion, I was laid up in the basement on my parents couch (as I have been for the past 18 seasons) for the 3 hour finale. The outcome is never quite as I would like it to be, but this season put all of those feelings to rest. Finally the guy I wanted to win, won, and on top of that, he won the "fan favorite" $100,000 award. Thats a grand total of $1.1 million dollars! I normally cringe at the thought of giving that much money to someone, but I was ecstatic to see him win it all. (oh, and yes, I have a small crush on him & he was in my dream last night too ... love it!)
