yup. thats me. that describes me and my blogging hobby pretty well. i think it is fair to say that i will be on this hiatus for a little while longer. so many things going on in my life. i dont really have time to sit down and blog like i used to, and when i do sit down, i fall asleep. summary: right now i am working on slowing down my "social life" (boy i let that one get away from me, and before i knew it, i had/have every weekend through the middle of september planned). i'm not going to let that happen again. also, work is about to start picking up so i am trying to focus on getting things organized and cleaned up. my department is moving to another floor and i will have a "big girl office" (moving up in the world, yee-haw). i am in the midst of planning a baby shower for my boss, mentally preparing for football season, working on getting a "little part time job", and accepting the fact that my heart fell in love much sooner than i expected. lets not forget that i am picking up my training for the army 10-miler which is in october, enjoying my sisters company, and trying to catch up on every episode of sex & the city before the next movie comes out. to top it off, i'm fearing the end of summer so any time i can spend in the sun, at the pool, on the boat, or at the beach takes priority over anything else. fortunately i have a few "boat days" planned and rounding out "summer" with a 5 day beach trip with my favorite ladies. that about sums up my life at the moment. see how blogging hasn't fit in the picture lately? yeah, i thought you would get it.
i did take time out for a good summer read. if you are looking for a unique, quick read that is a bit off the beaten path, check out the guernsey literary and potato peel society. i flew right through it and loved absolutely every minute of it. i will admit, i could not put it down. (people on the metro were staring at me, no lie.)

and i didn't fall asleep. mission accomplished.
