Don't Hate Me ...

I.AM.ABSOLUTELY.CRAZY.ABOUT.THESE.SHOES. Oh my gosh!!! Aren't they beatiful? I saw them on Blue Eyed Bride and thought they were stunning. Just today, she posted about how many people asked about her shoes, where she got them, how hard she searched to find them, and her small confession of splurging on them. In typical fashion, I looked them up online to consider purchasing a pair for myself. I found them on the website and before I could pass go or collect (more like spend) $200 ... I was stopped dead in my tracks by a $350 price tag. uuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. With that, I have a few confessions to make:

1. I could never bring myself to paying $350 for a pair of shoes. No if's and's or but's. I wouldn't even allow someone else to buy them for me (ok, maybe, but it would take a lot of convincing as to why they spent that much).
2. I am SUPER practical when it comes to clothes, shoes, purses, jewelry & make up. I suck the fun right out of it. I like to mix and match basics and I generally can never bring myself to paying the big bucks for anything.
3. I hate the word "trend". It urks me like no other. Not that I wont wear something that is "trendy", but I feel as though it is a bit of a conformist word.
4. If I purchase a major bargain, I will let you know about it so you can join in on the fun. I carry much pride in a good deal.
5. I am a coupon shopper at its finest.
6. My mom hooks me up with nice handbags, makeup and jewelry a couple times a year, and without her, I would never know a designers name other than reading them on blogs, magazines or tv. But in the end, a designers name is ... just a name. To me, it carries no value. (Thanks though mom. You love when your girls have nice things and we love you for it!)
7. I love to look nice, but I wouldn't go as far as to say I am "fashionable".

I hope you don't think I'm too weird. It isn't a very feminine thing to not love fashion, but I believe that is what makes the world go round. With that, I will sit back in my chair, with my cheap pumps on, dreaming about BEB's beautiful pumps. Seriously, they are gorgeous. (I can't look at them without *sighing*)

*For all those women out there who L-O-V-E fashion and have the extra cash to dive deep into it ... I'm not judging ... you go girl!
