Black Lungs Be Gone

As I mentioned here back in February, Virginia is FINALLY smoke free starting today!! I no longer have to worry about coming home smelling like an ash tray instead of my nice perfume or lovely shampoo. I no longer have to worry about waking up with a raspy voice the day after a fun night out (that is, if I don't go crazy and scream my head off... which tends to happen when I'm having the time of my life). I no longer have to hear my friends from out of state complain how gross it is that Virginia bars allow smoking. I no longer have to be subjected to someone else's bad habit just because I decided to be in the same restaurant or bar as they are. I no longer have to cringe over the sight of a puff of cigarette followed by a bite of food (that CANT taste good). And finally, I no longer have to wave my hand like a crazy person, have people stare at me or look at me like I've lost it, just because I am trying to redirect second hand smoke. Thank you Virginia for adding a few more days to my life.
