Ringin' In The New Year!

The miserable flu shot I got back in 2010 that plagued me with 3 colds, decided it would make a year end appearance. I woke up Friday (New Years Eve) eager as all get out to enjoy my day off and get my apartment in tip top shape. I didn't feel so hot when I woke up, but I thought by keeping active, I could shake it. After 6 hours of organizing, ditching, and deep cleaning my apartment, I thnk the chemicals and dust got the best of me. I ran to the pharmacy to pick up a few quick drugs before enjoying New Years Eve dinner. By 10p.m., the cold had taken over and I was practically in tears. Nyquil nor Sudafed were able to help me ring in the New Year and instead, I slept through the ball drop. Whoops! Thank goodness for DVR! I have spent the last 4 days on Chicken Noodle Soup, medicine, and lots of fluids. I refuse to believe this is any indication as to what the upcoming year has in store for me! And lets not even talk about how I had to pay for the terrible flu shot ...
