We're Adding to the Population in 2011

On Christmas Eve, two of my best girlfriends from high school and I met at a local coffee shop to catch up. Neither of them live in the area anymore so we don't get to see each other as much as I would like!! Lindsey announced she was pregnant in the fall of 2010 and found out the day before Thanksgiving that she is expecting a baby boy in May!! She is going to be an incredible mom and I couldn't wait to see her baby bump!! I practically dove to hug her when she walked in ... and then I needed the documentary "bump" picture in which I insisted she stand like this:

Knowing Lindsey through high school, spending four years with her in college, and watching while she grows into an amazingly supportive Air Force wife has been so neat. Now watching her carry a precious baby boy tops it all!

My dear friend Krits Cup O Tea, also joined us to catch up and share laughs and stories from the year. It wasn't long before Kristi caught me most off guard by taking off her jacket and sharing HER baby bump!!!! I was absolutely speechless, but of course could not stop beaming from ear to ear. Kristi shared her first trimester stories with us as she sat like this ...

Two of my best friends are expecting their first babies and they are only 5 weeks apart!!

Those are going to be some beautiful babies that I can't wait to ooh and ahh over!

I really couldn't be happier for the two of them. These girls deserve the best and between both of them and their incredible husbands, two lucky babies will be joining the party in 2011!!
